How to install
iPhone (iOS)
- Open Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Service) > Add eSIM.
- Choose Use QR Code and scan the code above (from another screen or a printout).
- Label the plan "I9C Travel" and keep your main line for calls.
- When you arrive: set "I9C Travel" as Cellular Data and turn Data Roaming on ONLY for it (keep roaming off on your main line to avoid charges from your carrier).
Android
- Open Settings > Network & internet > SIMs (or Connections > SIM manager) > Add eSIM.
- Choose Scan QR code and scan the code above (from another screen or a printout).
- Confirm the download, rename the eSIM to "I9C Travel" and keep it turned on.
- When you arrive: use "I9C Travel" for mobile data and turn Data Roaming on ONLY for it (keep it off on your main line).
Frequently asked questions
Does my phone support eSIM?
Most iPhones from the XR/XS onwards and recent Android phones do. Your phone also needs to be unlocked (not tied to one carrier).
When should I install the eSIM?
Before you travel, while you are on Wi-Fi. Turn on data roaming for the eSIM only when you arrive at your destination.
Do I keep my number and WhatsApp?
Yes. Your usual line stays on the phone for calls and texts, and WhatsApp keeps your number while it uses the eSIM data. Keep data roaming off on your usual line to avoid charges from your carrier.
Does the plan include calls or a local number?
No, the plans are data only. You can still call over the internet with WhatsApp, FaceTime and similar apps.
How do I receive the eSIM?
After payment we email you a private link with the QR code, usually within minutes. The QR code can be installed only once.
